Today it’s the Independence Day of Finland. There’s a Ball on TV (which I don’t watch) and we lit 2 candles. Which is not about being a scrooge but because it’s a Finnish tradition.

Our (me and dad) Christmas tradition is going abroad for a few days. This time we went to Tallinn, Estonia. I’ve never been there before. We went by ship and spend the day on land for some hours.
This is what I made a couple of days ago. It’s called Joulutorttu. It’s made of type of dough used in puff pastry. They are usually filled with prune jam. They are eaten at Christmas mainly.
