When there were no digital ways to navigate on the oceans and seas, the ships had a manual navigator. A big compass if you like.
What I love about photography is shooting a target without killing it. Here it’s a fast-moving classic boat. Shooting something that goes fast is a matter of time. You either get in the frame or the moment has passed.
So here we are, the last The Daily Post Photo Challenge. It’s been a good run. I started the challenge in January 2014. Here are my All-time favourite photos.
This was my first ever photo I posted for the challenge. It might not be my best work but it was memorable. It’s morning in Stockholm and it was my mother last cruise. She passed away in 2013.
Last but not least. My favourite. It’s a ski trip in Lapland. It was a time when cancer wasn’t even close to our family. I like it because I manage to catch movement which is not the easiest to photograph.
The best place in the world is the place you’re born in and when you leave you can’t wait to go back.
