My name is Mia and I’m from Finland. This is my photolio of the photographs I’ve taken. I use a digital Canon EOS D40 and an iPhone SE (2020). My dream was to become a Formula One photographer but I came to the conclusion, that I’ll never get that far. I can’t even get any work experience in my home town.
I mostly take photos of nature and architecture. I wish to learn how to take pictures of fast-moving things. I’ve tried but they don’t turn good.
I’m not really good at introducing myself so if you want to find out more. Have a look at Instagram. Or my other blog In my world. You can also find me on Twitter.
I hope you enjoy what you see. I always want to improve so feel free to give me feedback. Bad or good. Any tips are more than welcome.

Hey Mia, Finland is not too far from me. And I do take photos sometimes, when I’m not lazy carrying those big lenses. Glad I have the latest and smallest point and shoot camera now, so easy for me to capture something I like. 😀 Keep on doing what you are doing.

Very nice and interesting About-me-page. Thank You. We all have had dreams. Yours was Formel one photographer, mine was to become pilot. To freeze things, You need a camera, which can take photos at the speed of 1/8000 sec. If this is not enough, then move camera along with the target. Then target is clear, but background is not. I noticed this when shooting photos from reindeer races in Oulu. I have two posts from it, from this year and from previous.
This link shows both races:
Reindeer races.
There is difference with some photos, if You check. Maybe this helps You and gives ideas.
Happy bogging!

Very nice and clear photos. My camera is probably too slow for some speed photos and I don’t have that kind of lense either. Sometimes I do manage to get decent one’s but that’s rare.I guess I need more practise as well.
